Welcome Brothers and Sisters to New Beginnings Church!

New Beginnings Church opened it’s doors in Jeffersonville in March, 2010. We have quickly grown from a congregation of 5 people meeting in a smokey bingo hall to a congregation of over 100 quickly outgrowing our sanctuary. We are very blessed to be a part of the Jeffersonville community and to be serving Southern Indiana and the Louisville area.

New Beginnings Church is a very diverse church, where ALL people are welcome, accepted, and loved! I would like to invite you to visit us for one of our inspirational and uplifting services! We meet every Wednesday at 6:30pm and every Sunday at 10:30am. Come early, and join us for coffee and fellowship!

New Beginnings Church is very active in the community. We supply food and clothing to the needy; we participate in the Downtown Lay Ministries; we supply food to the local food pantry; we volunteer at the Bliss House; we participate in community clean up; we help people with yard work; and numerous other activities.

New Beginnings schedules and hosts numerous social activities, so please check back here often! We are not just a “church”…we are a “family…and our “family” wants YOU to join us!

If you have any questions, feel free to call me at 812-595-0571.

Serving with enthusiasm,
Pastor Tracy Patton

Kid’s Day with Pastor

Kid’s Day with Pastor & Tracy was a resounding success.  Many members of our youth group were in attendance and all participants enjoyed playing a game of Bible Bingo, getting prizes, and practicing Christmas Carols for the debut of the NBC Children’s Choir!

Our teens enjoyed themselves as well!

Live Nativity

Our church has been invited by Lynn Bell (one of the UPS employees who volunteered at our Fall Festival) to attend their “Drive thru Xmas” at Valley View Church located at 8911 Old Third Street Road in Louisville. It is a live manger scene with over 500 actors and live animals. They give you a head set and the story is narrated as you drive thru. It is from 7-10 pm December 18-20th, and it is FREE!

Advent Week of Joy Honorees

Happy Week of JOY!  What an amazing Advent season this has been.  Sunday’s activities were all examples of God’s joyous blessings!  Lincoln and Scarlett were awarded with the Children’s Church “Quiet As A Church Mouse Award”; Baby Paris was dedicated to the Lord; the Children’s Choir sang; the Stephens family were all baptized; and to top it off, there were 107 people there to celebrate in the JOY!

Special Honorees this week were Tracy Tully for her dedication in leading the Adult Bible Study; and all of our amazing members of the Praise & Worship Team, who work year round to bring us such amazing music!  Those people are:

  • Christy Patton (Team Leader)
  • Keri Sprinkle
  • Katrina Sprinkle
  • Alex Sprinkle
  • Kim Olliges
  • Denise Taylor
  • Beth Caudill
  • Liz Pratt
  • Barry Sears
  • Lyle Dykstra
  • Marci Hutchings

Thanks to everyone who gives of their time and talents in serving God at NBC!

You won’t want to miss this coming Sunday, as we celebrate the advent week of LOVE.  The NBC Choir will perform for the first time, as well as the NBC Music Ensemble.  Christmas Eve service will be held at 11pm, and it is always such a beautiful candlelight service.  Bring your family!

Many blessings to all of you!
Pastor Tracy

Bliss House Gift Drive

Each year, the Deacons of NBC host a Christmas dinner for the women of the Bliss House.  Members of the congregation have chosen a child or grandchild of each Bliss House resident to purchase a gift for so that every mother and grandmother has the opportunity to give their loved ones a gift at the dinner.

All unwrapped gifts should be brought to the church no later than Wednesday, December 17th.  Please see Alan.
